Midwest Coast Bias is the host for this week's Big 12 Roundtable. Nebraska sucks this year, so I guess we're not so different, us Cyclones and Huskers.
1. If you could steal another coach at any level (head, assistant, etc.) from another school, who would it be and why?
With an entirely new coaching staff, it's way too early to make a read on the coaching situation. If I was going to possibly look at one guy to replace through this point in the season, however, it'd probably be Jay Boulware, runningbacks coach and special teams coordinator, due to the dramatic failure of our special teams, including on kickoff coverage.
2. What two teams will play for the Big XII Championship and why?
I still think it's Missouri and Oklahoma. I think Mizzou is the best team and has the best chance of downing the other three schools fighting it out at the top of the division. As far as the Sooners, I still think that they are easily the best team in the conference, despite the bad showing in Boulder. They'll likely rack up 80 points on the Clones this week.
3. What is the best bowl game your team has a realistic shot at and, if your team has a shot, who would you like to play in said bowl?
4. If given the opportunity, would you keep the Big XII status quo or kick out a team and go to a Big 10-style conference play?
Um, we could get rid of all the Texas schools and go back to being the Big 8, but that would probably cost us some money. I wonder how many people will vote to kick out State?
5. Rank the Big XII teams
- Kansas State
- Texas Tech
- Oklahoma State
- Texas A&M
- Iowa State
