Darius Darks, a 6-1, 175 pound athlete who plays safety for Pflugerville (TX) Connally High School has committed to Gene Chizik and the Iowa State Cyclones.
Darks will likely end up in the secondary for Iowa State, either at safety or cornerback. He's one of the top athletes in the state of Texas, as a standout on the football field, the basketball court, as well as the track. He becomes Iowa State's fifth three-star commit.
Darks chose Iowa State over Michigan State. He's also got a really cool sounding name that will lead to some really crappy puns when he makes it big.
