Contract Bonanza!

In today's edition of the online Des Moines Register, the contracts of the athletic director's and big coaches at all of the state schools were put online in PDF form. Here's the one's of interest to Iowa Staters:

Jamie Pollard's Contract
Gene Chizik's Contract
Greg McDermott's Contract
Bill Fennelly's Contract
Cael Sanderson's Contract

Some details:

Jamie Pollard

$275k, with 4% raise every year; 50k a year into a deferred compensation fund, and 75k per year for meeting performance goals

Gene Chizik

$250k, with 750k in additional compensation, increased by 50k on July 1, 08 and 50k each year thereafter based on fulfillment of other duties, such as coaches shows, and public appearances.

100k for each regular season win over seven
100k for each conference championship game appearance
100k for each conference championship or BCS game appearance, only 100k if he achieves both
100k for each time ranked in the top ten of the Coaches Poll
50k for each time ranked 11-25th
50k for each Gator, Cotton, Holiday or Alamo Bowl appearance, additional 25k for a win
25k for each Sun, Insight, Independence, Texas or other Tier III bowl appearance, additional 25k for win
25k for each Big 12/National Coach of the Year Award

Greg McDermott

$225k, with 425k in additional compensation, increased by 50k on July 1, 07 and 50k each year thereafter based on fulfillment of other duties, such as coaches shows, and public appearances.

50k for each NCAA tourney appearance
50k for each Sweet 16 appearance
50k for each Final Four appearance
50k for each National Championship
25k for each NIT appearance through 2008-09

Bill Fennelly

$225k, with 225k in additional compensation, increased by 25k on July 1, 08 and 25k each year thereafter based on fulfillment of other duties, such as coaches shows, and public appearances.

15k for each NCAA second round appearance

Cael Sanderson

$110k, including an automobile or 5k stipend

10k for each National Championship
5k for each Big 12 Championship
1k for each individual NCAA qualifier
500 for each individual Big 12 Champion

Sanderson cannot seek employment at Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa or Northern Iowa during the length of the contract.

It would appear each coach better do that coaches show, or they are screwed. Anyways, I just though I'd post this for quick reference.
