In today's installment of the Cyclone Soap Opera, local Des Moines radio host Larry Cotlar is reporting former Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer is interested in the Cyclone job opening.

Unfortunately, I'm studying for finals.....you know, before the thundersnow hits Ames. Yes, thundersnow.

Interesting

I heard that this morning on the radio. I am not sure how much truth there is to it or how interested he is.

One thing I will say is that Cotlar is usually a play-it-safe kind of guy. He doesn’t just spout off rumors that have no bearing (like Marty Tirrell). I believe that Cotlar really believes it to be true.

I guess we will see as I haven’t really found anything about this other than on message boards. More Drama to Cyclone Nation!
