Galick v. Hoehn in the next round?

am I reading that correctly? Looks like 2nd place will be decided in style with all the matches between us

Hey...so what is the story with Dalton Jensen?

Next in line to Gallick or just on one hell of a run?

Gallick wrestles everything so close

Gallick is the better wrestler, I just think Nick had a bad match.

Oh sure...as evidence by the fact he is churning through the consols...

I was just wondering if this type of outing was expected from Jensen. For instance, (and not to hit too close to home here), but while I expect Dom Bradley to hold his own with most HWY’s even though he is not starting, beating the #2 ranked guy was not something I saw coming. Is Jensen in a similar situation at this point behind Gallick like Bradley is behind Ellis?

favored in all five of our semis

So if Iowa can start dropping some matches, we have a shot.

Bradley of Mizzou beat #5 Wise of Illinois...

impressive run for him, especially with the ranked wrestlers he has drawn.

Should be up to 157 semis now…

Sanderson wins 9-5 and Reader won 7-5

Great afternoon so far for the Clones, that is for sure…

Hope Marable can join Reader in the finals

yeah...not reading a score on that one...

though given their styles, I do not imagine it will be a high one :-)

yeah...saw that Morningstar had an epic ride going in the 3rd

kicked him off with RT well in hand…

Marable with rough draw coming back, as he wrestles the Fay/Manuel winner just for the right to wrestle for 3rd.

Wow, Varner into the finals via forfeit.

Five in the finals. Got a fighter’s chance.

sheesh...laying out perfectly in front of you

I saw that Borschel lost in the semis at 174…no word yet on Jordan…hopefully Askren can get by Herbst and join a….um…well-rested Varner :-)

So...Dalton will have to wrestle Gallick...

do they actually wrestle or will someone take a forfeit here?

Well, Dalton can't really lose

…help himself or help the team…..maybe he should just take a forfeit due to conflict of interest…hah

by CrossCyed on Dec 30, 2008 2:49 PM CST up reply actions

yeah...I guess that would make sense for him to do that

Gallick can only score the points….and a foreit does not end the tourney for Dalton at this point.

Looks like Askren went down

Sounds like both Iowa and Iowa State will have five in the finals, within just points of each other….

by CrossCyed on Dec 30, 2008 2:56 PM CST up reply actions

Team Standings

Sounds like ISU 142.5, Iowa 135
