Josh Lenz - Iowa State Football Commit #6

Josh Lenz, athlete out of Dubuque Hempstead, has decided that he'll be playing his college ball in Ames.

Lenz is a two-star recruit according to Rivals. He is the third recruit out of the state of Iowa.

Lenz is an All-State defensive back, as well as a runningback, but ISU will likely look at him as a potential wide receiver.

Lenz may not be a big name, but eastern Iowa hasn't traditionally been a recruiting hotbed for the Clones. I'm happy with this pickup. It's also encouraging seeing someone that really wants to be here.

"I'm really comfortable with it," Lenz said. "I've been (to Ames) a couple times, and every time I went down there I liked it more and more. All the coaches are great. The facilities are awesome. They just built a new academic building a couple years ago that's awesome also.

"There's an attitude down there that they're going to turn things around, and I think it'd be fun to be a part of it."
