Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz has a lifetime record of 4-6 (.400) against Iowa State. Only one BCS school exists that has a worse all-time record than Ferentz against Iowa State: Pittsburgh. The Panthers are 0-1 all-time against Iowa State, with a loss in the 2000 Insight Bowl.
