Okla. St. versus Iowa State...

If the post players play like the have the three games we don't have a chance.  No matter how many threes that Lacy and Ezell rain in if we can't start to control the boards it is going to be a long season.  Wieben and Anderson seemed to have digressed from last year.  Both seem to be going through the motions.  With Ross still a little gimpy that leaves Nisleit and she hasn't played a good game yet either.  I had very high hopes for this team with all the veterans coming back but if they don't improve the lackluster play in the paint  we are going to see a lot of carnage in the conference.  I hope Coach Bill can kick some butt and move this team along.  Go Clones...

Well, I think our guards can lead us to a win over anyone

….but I agree…….our post players need to show back up during the conference season to do well at all.

guards... they weren't there today until the end...

Now if Wieben and Nisleit can keep this production up we may just have a 3rd place team in the Big 12. 22 rebounds between them is an amazing out put for those two. Wieben kept us in the game and gave us a chance to win. It was good to see Yackley knock a big three early on. All and all it was a good team win.

With Apologies To Randy Edsall, The Big East Remains Mostly Harmless

FILE -- This is an Oct. 18, 2008 file photo showing Connecticut corner back Jasper Howard (6) trying to get the crowd into the game during the fourth quarter of an NCAA college football game against Rutgers, in Piscataway, N.J. Jasper Howard had his little sisters' names tatooed on his chest. His friends say it was a constant reminder of why he was at U Conn _ to provide his family with a better life than the one he had in Miami's Little Haiti. (AP Photo/Mel Evans, File) link
