Awesome win for you guys

I’m just glad you did it to Nebraska and not Kansas(well, you almost did).

I like rooting for the “minnows”. Keep it up now and knock off Colorado and Missouri please.

Insanity is just a state of mind.

Your team seems to have awesome chemistry and belief in your coach. Amazing to watch this video.

that video

is simply everything that is awesome about college football

from the players celebrating the victory, to saluting their fans, to singing the fight song, to the coach choking up when telling them how proud he is. Just. Awesome.

Congrats on the win, btw. I’ve been very impressed with what Rhoads has been doing for y’all, week by week.

I can't get enough of this video

I had a bunch of family stuff going on Saturday but was getting text updates from a friend of mine and finally got to a TV for most of the 2nd half. Wow, am I glad I could at least see that much. Part of the struggle of being a Cyclone fan is ignoring that part of me that’s always expecting the worst to happen at any moment because that’s usually what’s coming but moments like that make it so much fun. I saw the missed PAT in KC and watched the overthrow in Lawrence so it’s about time this team caught a break (or 8 in this case). Regardless of the ridiculousness of NU’s turnovers this team stayed in the game and found a way to win in Lincoln with their starting QB and RB on the bench. That’s pretty huge.

Echoing what Beergut said above that video is absolutely awesome. Seeing Coach Rhoads in this video and watching him celebrate with the fans on his way to the locker room there’s no doubt that he’s all-in with the program and the players and fans are all-in with him.

Although I wish ISU was in first (and it’s really hard not to think about how close we were to being there…sorry, can’t help it) I kind of like the fact that it’s KSU and ISU sitting 1-2 in the division after all of the jokes about the “Cellar Bowl” in KC.
