Jesse Smith made Defensive Player of the Week, and Mike Brandtner made Special Teams Player Of The Week. If it wasn't for Jesse leading the troops defensivley, and Brandtner's run along with great punting, ISU wouldn't have been able to win the game.
Jesse Smith also got the Walter Camp National Defensive Player of the Week award for his efforts in Week 8.
It's nice to see two important players from this program finally get some recognition for their efforts during their Senior Years.
