Open thread for the Cal Game. It's on ESPNU. Since I do not get the channel, I will head out to watch this somewhere, meaning I may not be able to participate much if at all for this one. I really hope that we man up and whoop up on the Golden Bears tonight!

Outrebounded
11 to 25… Cal has as many offensive rebounds as we have total rebounds…. Not good enough, especially when you’re shooting only 35% from the floor…
ISU 42, Cal 47 15:05 left in the half
ISU going inside out now. Have outrebounded 4-2 this half thus far… Gotta keep it going

But they are a much better team than they showed against OSU and Syracuse. When they get Theo Robertson and Kamp back, they’ll be even better. No shame in losing to them.

That ticks me… Not the fact we’re losing…. I know this is a good team, but they are playing like they want it more…. Totally beating up our guys inside on both ends…

Just had higher expectations for this team… On paper, I thought they’d be a lot better…. They are too soft inside.

I had high expectations for this year, as many fans did. Weren’t we supposed to have all kinds of support for Brackins this year? Did that guy not give up millions of $$$ to comeback to us for some reason? We have looked horrible (the two measley times I’ve been able to watch the games on TV!!) What a complete disappointment this year has been, so far.
It looks like no one on the team is ready when one of the guys chucks up a shot. There is no one around the offensive boards. I blame that on the leadership . It seems that the other team is allowed to control the game way too easy with this group.
Also, our defense SUCKS. Do they not get physical at all in practice?? Maybe McDermott needs to pop in a Eustachy practice tape for some pointers because this team is SOFT!!
This team is in dire need of a LEADER. If a player on the floor is not going to take that role then Mac needs to fill the void by being more aggressive on the sideline.
Reminds me of Reggie Evans
