The Iowa State volleyball program moved up to No. 12 in the latest AVCA Coaches Poll, which came out on Monday. The Cyclones were ranked No. 13 in the preseason poll.

ISU defeated UW-Milwaukee in two matches this past weekend. The Cyclones earned sweeps in both matches, winning the sets by an average of 8.8 points per frame.

Iowa State (2-0) will travel to Northern Iowa (2-1) on Wednesday before heading to Minnesota for the Diet Coke Classic this weekend. The Cyclones will face the 13th-ranked Golden Gophers in addition to George Washington and Auburn at the tournament.
Sidenote.... The Volleyball team is celebrating breaking the record for season tickets.  They went over 500 for the first time.  I think that a #12 ranking deserves better than that.  Come on folks, lets show them some support...attend a game or two.  You might just catch the excitement that a national ranking can bring.
