And then there were 4. Kansas. Colorado. Texas A&M. Texas. This is a big deal (BIG DEAL!!!!)... Sort of. It is more about how motivated Kansas and Texas are. All four of these teams are now solidly in the tournament. Kansas and Texas are playing for a #1 seed, with the worst being a #2 seed for either of these teams.
For fun, I'm picking Colorado to face Texas in the finals. Kansas doesn't really want to be there, and I am sure Self secretly wouldn't mind heading back a day early to prep for the NCAA tournament. Texas I think will be more motivated, because Rick Barnes needs as much goodwill as possible. He gets a lot of flack, and a #1 seed (along with making a deep run) in the tournament would be big for him.
