You can say it's not about race, but you can't compare the two resumes and say [Chizik] deserved the job. Out of all the coaches they interviewed, Chizik probably had the worst resume.

"I see this as a place that's a sleeping giant," Chizik said. "I love who the people are. These are well-educated fans who show up regardless. This place has a chance to be really good, or I wouldn't have come. I said we can go in there and win the Big 12 North at some point, and I still believe that."

"This is Iowa State's superbowl. I mean Iowa can lose this game and still go win the big 10 like they have in years past. Iowa State can't go win the big 12!"

If that doesn't say that the big 12 is way better than the big 10 i don't know what will. ISU regularly beats Iowa, because Iowa isn't that good. And the big 10 is TERRIBLE.

The Big 12 is year in and year out is stacked! 3 top ten teams. 5 top 15. Colorado, Nebraska, ISU, KSU, OSU all looking at bowl games. Ha one of these years Iowa fans will take a course on logic and comparing strengths, until then they will continue to make our points for us.

A sidewalk project means there may be a little bounce to the beer kegs instead of dings in the pavement when delivery trucks unload.

The city is installing a rubber sidewalk at a spot near the Iowa State University campus where beer distributors unload hundreds of kegs from trucks for bars in the area.

All those heavy kegs hitting the ground have been cracking the concrete pavement.

Here's the new plan: Resign, all of you. That's non-negotiable. We trusted you with our children and you betrayed us. You've shamed the state of Iowa, the university, the athletic department, the fans, and yourselves. Every day you continue to be employed at the University of Iowa is a day that the UI tells the world that at this school, integrity takes a back seat to PR at all costs. This isn't a football issue, this is a human issue. All of you need to start over, elsewhere, and preferably not in a profession that leaves the well-being of young adults as part of your responsibilities. You don't have to admit that you did anything wrong, just that you're ready to do something right.
