Diaries are a unique feature of the SBNation and are meant to empower the community.  They are located right beneath the front page poll on the right hand side.  This is a spot for you to post news, thoughts or general ideas not related to the main threads/posts. There are buttons below the posting area to help you with your diaries.

Many SBNation sites have established and well-updated diary sections that provide as much to the site as the main blogger. Everyone is encouraged to start a diary if they feel like it, if even just to give it a try. You might as well go for it. You can even add extra info that someone could click through to....

You can add polls as well. In addition, use tags to identify the scope and intentions of your diary.
