Is LA Pomlee a Cyclone?

This thread would seem to make that argument.

Pomlee wasn't exactly plan A for Iowa State. A big man with athleticism, he didn't quite stand out for Davenport Central during the State playoffs. Scout has the 6-8 big man as the #35 power forward nationally. There's potential there. If he does in fact come to Iowa State, it'd be a great test of McDermott's "big man" coaching ability. Our history with spring recruits is mediocre at best, so there's that as well.

Pomlee would essentially take over Cory Johnson's spot on the roster.

With the total lack of big men on next year's roster, Pomlee's gonna find playing time if he has in fact committed to ISU.
