Cyclones Interested in Tony Freeman?
The title of this Des Moines Register story says so, but the article doesn't mention anything. The 6-1 senior to be averaged over 13 points a game for the Hawkeyes this past year.
I would love Freeman on this team because of his ability to score, but I'm not sure how the scholarship situation would shake out. While it wouldn't be crazy to expect another Cyclone defection, it would also be strange to burn a scholarship for two years for just one year on the court. If he could walk-on, though, you have to take him in a heartbeat. We'd have a nice looking guard court in a couple of years.

I wish I knew
It's tough to tell with the tv options not usually released til less than a week in advance. The only one I know of so far is that the UNLV game will be on the Mtn., the Mountain West version of the Big Ten Network.

Hope not
I'm having trouble seeing how the team is in any place to be using 2 years of scholarships for one year of playing. Like you said, if he wants to walk-on that would be great but I doubt that happens.
