Iowa State Offers Tate Forcier, Much Like Everyone Else

Iowa State has offered a scholarship to Robert "Tate" Forcier, one of the more sought after quarterback prospects in the West. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, but Tate is kind of unique - he's got his own website chronicling his recruitment. You can log on and see the actual scholarship offer from Coach Chizik, as well as numerous other head football coaches.

ISU Scholarship Offer

ISU is going up against schools such as LSU, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska and a host of others for Forcier.

While ISU would be considered a longshot for Forcier, let's keep an eye out on the possible recruitment.

Offers

It's kind of strange that Chizik's letter is word for word the same as the Duke offer.  They haven't even coached at any of the same spots.

I wonder

Maybe it's like a form letter that the NCAA encourages use of? Weird.

Good catch

At least Duke fixed theirs.  We should do better than that.
