We're finally onto one of the position battles that will be, well, an actual battle. Grant Mahoney and Zach Guyer both come in as true freshman. It's hard to draw any sort of conclusions, never having seen either one kick, but former ISU kicker Jamie Kohl is pretty high on both.

The general consensus is that Mahoney is more accurate, while Guyer has a stronger leg. This pick is kind of a roll of the dice.
