If you're able to go to this game, I'd suggest going. It is a legitimate chance to win, and I really hope the guys can put out a W not just for the fans, but for themselves as well.

Colorado wants to run as they do not run a good half court offense. If we can limit points off of turnovers, we should win, no matter how poorly we shoot.

Last time out, we lost to CU although we had a lead for most of the game. We also endured a 9 minute scoring drought. Also, Colorado had 21 points off of turnovers in a game where they scored 55.

I think this time out, we shoot the ball better. I also think DG plays much better and we have less turnovers. We should win by several points, but I know our team tends to play down (or up) to our opponents level.

A legit concern is that although Colorado is 1-5 over their last 6 games, they have played much better over this stretch. They lost to K-State by 2, beat us by 6, lost at Kansas by 5, lost to Nebraska by 2, and lost at Oklahoma by 5.

Lets take a quick look at the Big XII standings:

Big Twelve Conference Standings

(updated 2.10.2009 at 2:44 AM CST)

Conf Overall
W L W L
Oklahoma Sooners 9 0 23 1
Kansas Jayhawks 8 1 19 5
Missouri Tigers 8 2 21 4
Kansas St. Wildcats 5 4 16 7
Nebraska Cornhuskers 5 4 15 7
Texas Longhorns 4 4 15 7
Oklahoma St. Cowboys 3 5 14 8
Texas A&M Aggies 3 6 17 7
Baylor Bears 3 6 15 8
Texas Tech Red Raiders 2 6 12 11
Iowa St. Cyclones 1 7 12 11
Colorado Buffaloes 1 7 9 13

Hopefully we can stay out of the bottom and get a W. A 6 game losing streak is just too long!
