Nice profile on Marquis Gilstrap in the AAmes Tribune. The juco forward is a protege of Kantrail Horton. Glad to hear his coach say Gilstrap -- at 6-foot-7-inches -- is versatile enough to play any position. I also didn't realize how highly rated Gilstrap is:
ESPN lists him as the No. 3 small forward in the class of 2009 and the No. 2 player in junior college.
Gilstrap averaged a double-double, scoring 22.4 points and grabbing 10.1 rebounds a game. Looks like help might be on the way.
