Kennard Banks, Cleyon Laing, and Kevin Hamlin all turned themselves in today at 5:30am for marijuana possession. As far as how this will affect playing time, we obviously will have someone different starting at CB. Laing and Hamlin haven't been playing this season.
As a fan, it sucks to see your players get into trouble, but cooperating with the police is the best route to go. It will be interesting to see how this new staff deals with discipline of it's players. Hopefully these guys and the rest of the team learn from the situation, move on, and avoid something like this happening again.
Updates are forthcoming, when Paul Rhoads comments on the situation and/or further details of the suspensions emerge.
