A little bit of history occurring tonight, as Iowa State takes its last ever trip to Lincoln for a conference matchup against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Coach Fred Hoiberg will also be coaching for the first time(and last, for the foreseeable future) in the city where he was born, and against the university that his parents graduated from, as well as the place where his grandfather, Jerry Bush, coached the Huskers.
It's a pretty early vital swing game for the Cyclones. With a win, Iowa State's dream start to the season begins, and they'd roll into the matchup with Kansas at 14-2. A loss wouldn't crush Iowa State, but this team is in a position to really help itself tonight. Scott Christopherson is questionable, and Jake Anderson won't be full go, but this should be a very good matchup.
